Terms of Service

Please read my Terms of Service carefully before choosing to commission me. By commissioning me, you are accepting my Terms of Service. My Terms of Service can change at any time without warning.

I will never make NFTs, and you are not to turn any commissioned work by me into an NFT. If you see any work by me that is used as an NFT, it has been stolen. By agreeing to commission me, you are agreeing to these terms, and I will take legal action if these terms are broken.

I will draw...

  • Original characters

    • MMO characters and other online avatars

    • Fandom OCs

    • Fully original characters

  • Some fictional characters (depends on copyright - just ask!)

  • Real people

  • Animals

  • Plants/florals

  • Nudity

  • Mild/medium gore

    • Ex: Cuts, bruises, bloody noses, zombies, etc. (Feel free to ask if what you want isn't listed!)

    • I will not draw gore depicting children, minorities, or animals.

    • I will not draw gore that is especially sadistic, or that depicts or glorifies extreme violence, abuse, suicide or self-harm.

I will not draw...

  • Pornography

  • Fetish art

  • Anything that promotes bigotry or hate speech

  • Copyrighted characters (If it's from a piece of media where the creator has stated that they don't mind independent artists selling art derived from their work, or if it's from an anime where I'm less likely to get in trouble, I will be more open to this. Don't be afraid to ask.)

  • Mecha/robots

  • Chibis

  • Celebrities/famous people

  • Intense gore

  • Gore or nudity of real people

I have the right to...

  • Decline any commission request that I am either A) unwilling to fulfill, or B) unable to fulfill.

  • Post the finished commission on any of my social media or on this website to use as a sample of my work.

You have the right to...

  • Post the finished commission on any of your social media accounts, as long as there is a credit to me, the original artist. I would prefer that the credit goes to my account on whichever social media you're sharing it on, either by tagging me or providing a link to my page, but if I do not have an account on the social media you're posting it to, you can add a link to any of my accounts.

  • Use the commissioned piece however you like, as long as you aren't profiting off of it or claiming it as your own.

  • If you want to use my work for commercial use, please bring this up with me before I accept the commission so that we can discuss this matter further.

About payment...

  • Unless you are commissioning me on behalf of a reputable organization, I expect full payment upfront.

  • I accept payment through PayPal, USD only. I will also accept checks, only if you are commissioning me on behalf of a reputable organization.

  • I will send you an invoice through your Paypal email after I accept your commission.

About refunds...

I do not typically offer refunds. However, if any of these three situations occur, I will offer a full refund.

  • If something happens to the painting while I’m working on it and it is irreversibly damaged, I will give you the choice of whether you want me to start over or whether you want a refund and to back out of the commission.

  • If in the middle of a commission, I realize that I am unable to finish the commission, I will refund you. I do not have to explain why I cannot finish the commission, I will simply notify you that I cannot finish it and refund your money.

  • If you change your mind about commissioning me while I am still in the middle of the thumbnailing or sketching process, I will refund you. However, once I am past the sketching process I will consider the commission to be finalized and will no longer be offering refunds. I will tell you once the sketch is finished and send you a photo of the sketch. This will be your last chance to back out before I will offer a refund.

About my process...

  • I will send you multiple progress photos of the work throughout the thumbnailing, sketching, and painting process so that you can tell me know of any changes you need me to make. Upon finishing the sketch, I will ask you if you want any changes before I begin to add color. I am unable to make any major compositional changes once I've begun the painting process, so that will be your last chance to tell me if you need anything changed.

  • Because I send so many progress photos, I will not restart a painting completely unless something happens to cause irreversible damage to the painting.

About receiving the finished piece...

  • I will send you the file of the finished piece over email. I normally send .png files, but I can send it in another format if you need.

  • If you commissioned me to do traditional work and would like to have the original piece mailed to you, please specify this and I will do so. All I ask is that you cover shipping costs.

    • I will not do this for digital works; if you want a physical copy of a digital art piece, you need to print it out yourself.

  • I am not responsible to hold onto original paintings for long periods of time. If you commission me now but don't ask to have the original mailed to you until a year later, I cannot guarantee that I will still have the original painting on hand. (If you request to have the original mailed to you later down the line and I do still have it, I will still mail it to you.)

About deadlines...

  • I will complete the painting within one month after I have received payment.

  • If you have a specific deadline it needs to be finished by, I need you to tell me this before I accept the commission.
